Rediff is one of the most established sites within India and is becoming one of the biggest Social Networks in that part of the world. In this article we'll show you how to publish your game on Rediff and thus bring it to millions of people in India.
This list outlines the steps involved in publishing your game on Rediff:
The first two steps should be quite easy to follow along. We'll concentrate on step 3 to 5 in this article.
Start by creating your Rediff application. Go to the Rediff developers dashboard page and click the "Create a new app" button on the left. This opens a form that looks like the one below.

The game name on Rediff needs to be the same as on Platogo. For your convenience you can copy the App Name and the Callback URL from the Rediff section of your game on Platogo. The Callback domain is filled out automatically. Proceed with entering a description & uploading a thumbnail for your game.
When you've completed the form click on Register your App. A congratulations screen will come up and you can continue to your Rediff developers dashboard.
Now, that Rediff knows about your game on Platogo, you have to tell Platogo a few things about your newly created Rediff app.

Copy the AppKey and AuthKey from your developer dashboard on Rediff and paste them into the corresponding textfields on the Rediff page in your game dashboard on Platogo.
Platogo also needs your Rediff User Id so that you can test your game on Rediff before you publish it.
To grab your id, go to your developers dashboard on Rediff, right-click your user picture and copy the image url. Then paste it somewhere (e.g. the address field of your browser) and look at the number right after uid=: this is your user id (yeah, it's a bit of a hassle). Enter this number into the textfield labeled Rediff User Id on Platogo.
In the drop-down, choose the game version you would like use on Rediff. Remember that you can upload different versions of your game in the Game Versions tab. This might come in handy if you want to use another version on Rediff than on Platogo.com or Facebook.
You need to leave the Rediff App Number blank for now. If everything else is filled out click Save settings. Rediff will automatically verify your game.
Go to your developers dashboard on Rediff and check the status of your game. It needs to be Verified. Sometimes that can take a couple of minutes (in rare cases hours). The moment your app is verified, you get a new link called Test in sandbox, which allows you to test your game on Rediff. Click it and look at the address field of your browser. The number right behind http://appsandbox.rediff.com/your-game/ is what you need. Enter this number into the Rediff App Number field on your Rediff page on Platogo and save your settings one more time.
Warning: We need to know the Rediff App Number in order to properly construct links from within the game. Challenges & invitations links will not work without this number.
After you have tested your Rediff game and feel like it's time to get some new players, all you have to do is to click on the button Submit App next to the Test in sandbox link in your developers dashboard on Rediff and wait until it has the status Published. This may take some time as Rediff verifies all games manually. As soon as the app status changes to Published your game is playable by all other Rediff users around the world.
You're done. You've successfully created & published your Rediff game with Platogo! That's all there is to it. Now go and tell all your friends.
