The Platogo management team consists of five highly skilled experts in web front-end development, server-side programming, graphic design, game- and business development. All five have worked together before on various projects: the chemistry within the team is highly motivating and the common goal is Platogo.
Studied computer science at the Technical University, Vienna. After graduating in business engineering, Jakob worked as a Java developer for RI3K in London. In addition to project management and platform development, Jakob oversees the financial and organizational aspects of Platogo.
Graduate of media technology and design from the University of Applied Sciences, Hagenberg. Award-winning web and multimedia programmer, and joint head of the Adobe Flash User Group Austria. Florian has been a dedicated gamer since an early age and is Platogo's chief game designer. He also manages developer relations and support.
After graduating in media technology and design from the University of Applied Sciences, Hagenberg, Christoph specialized in Flash and Flex development. Was technical lead at bwin, and co-heads the Adobe Flash User Group Austria. Responsible at Platogo for client-side and platform development, as well as customer relationship management.
Graduated in media technology and design from the University of Applied Sciences, Hagenberg before becoming an award-winning web developer for Viennese advertising agency DraftFCBi. Simone is responsible for Platogo's front-end development, press contact, quality assurance and accounting.
A graduate in media technology & design of the University of Applied Sciences, Hagenberg, Daniel specializes in 2D and 3D graphics and animation. Was a 3D artist with Wunderwerk in Vienna, and two of his 3D short films have won international awards. As creative director, Daniel is responsible for Platogo's overall look and feel, as well as game mechanics and logic.
Platogo's potential has been recognized internationally.
In 2008, Platogo received departure classic funding. departure is Austria's first independent business development and service center for companies of the creative industries, and considered a successful example for innovation funding on a competitive basis in Europe.
In June 2009, the Platogo team was invited to introduce their ideas to a panel of experts at Mini Seedcamp in Berlin. The Platogo presentation earned them praise not only from the jury's influential members but also from other competitors.
Based on the Seedcamp success, Platogo presented their concept at TechCrunch, again winning the conference with their convincing demonstration.
In 2010, Platogo received funding from AWS Impulse, the first nationwide funding program for Austria's creative industries.
